Interesting composition - a couple of thoughts come to mind seeing this: monkeys used as test subjects in labs, and the scenes in Michael Mann's 1983 film, The Keep where evil entity Radu Molasar sucks and feeds off the souls from Nazi soldiers (their essence "boils off" from their eyes and mouth in a way similar to this picture). Cool.
